Cook Book Publishers Will Be Pissed Off

Calling all Foodies: I just want to let you know that because of you all I will never buy another cookbook again. You all ROCK. You provide the most amazing pictures and for me personally I cannot cook or be inspired without pictures. So thank you and my husband thanks you as well for all the money you will be saving us until the day the Internet goes away or my fingers fall off.
I truly say this with incredible respect & affection for each of you in your own way has inspired me. I have developed this incredible personal blog roll in only a few short weeks and made some new friends along the way

Oh you’re so cute! Food blogs are very addicting, I know! Thanks Cathy for telling me about the other Cathy’s Potato event! I’ve submitted my tortilla to her and gave you credit on my blog!
Hmmm food and me well let’s just say I love to wine and dine but *@##$%$#@ cook. Nah not enough time. So Cathy invites me to a Simply Tasteful event…oh ya know something like that…at her house. The speaker gets started talking about the company and the food that’s about to get passed around, easy enough but I wasn’t hungry so it made it a bit difficult for me. So I tried some and skipped some only to ask another guest what they thought, heck I could go by their opinion. That’s when it began…the “language” if you remember the Charlie Brown cartoon and the teacher speaking,Wha,wha,wha… yeah well I was Charlie. I had no idea what they were saying! Now I’m thinking “what am I doing here”, I was in a whole other land. The items were truly easy to make but even that sounds too much to do at this point in my life, and modifying the recipe and alternating what you could try it with and again I was hearing Wha, Wha, Wha…FORGET ABOUT IT! Write it down I can do it…ad lib riiiii—ght, I don’t think so not even a little bit. I begin filling out the order form…ya know I can do the courtesy buy to help out a friend, and then a revelation hit me. I HAVE TWO COLLEGE KIDS!! oh my gosh that’s what created the desire to order and order some more. Hysterical! I told the girls what they have coming and they can’t wait for the package. What a great event~
hahaha – Cynthia you crack me up. I can see it now … a 18 wheeler dumps off packages for both of them.
Oh my..I am so honored that you included me among these other fine bloggers, as I think I have only been at it for 3 months! It IS addicting!

I find that I am buying less cookbooks now that I have been food blogging. Food blogging is a pleasant addiction.
Thanks so much for including me on your list! I’m totally addicted, too. It takes me at least a day and a half to get through my blog list–while doing other things, of course. And my bookmarked recipes list is always growing!
