When is young…too young?

I heard on a local sportscast yesterday during halftime, that there is a young kid of the tender age of 13 that has been/is being recruited for the 2015 Football team as a quarterback.

THIRTEEN, folks….

His name is David Sills and he is from Bear, DE.
Here is a youtube video of his work…you decide:

I’m not a huge college football fan, but I thought this was pretty interesting…

Ok it’s funny that this is in our blog today because I was just talking about it yesterday at a meeting with some awesome folks about programs geared at getting the boys in front of the right people for recruiting and how important it is to help.

Apparently this was a publicity stunt orchestrated by the guy who’s been hired to coach the kid. The guy who’s coaching him is sought out from all over the world and is getting a lot of money hourly just to develop a plan for the kids. He has the connections to get their reels in front of the right people. Very interesting indeed.

WOW that is amazing - what is impressive to me is the scouts can detect talent at such a young age. To predict the level of play years in advance is a skill and a gift.
