Extremely creative marketing - I love it.

I’ve seen it mentioned a couple times before and thought I’d share it with our readers as well.  I certainly won’t argue with them on this one - it’s an eye catching ad.  As the wife of a drummer, anything with cymbals, grabs my attention.  But I think you will agree that this is very clever.

It’s from the Sydney Morning Herald and it’s an ad to promote the CD give away in The Sydney Morning Herald of performances by The Sydney Symphony Orchestra.  It was even awarded the Ad of Da Month award.

    HAHAHA! Maybe - but it would probably make me want to start smashing my hands together repeatedly to see what “new cymbal” sounds could be had. ;)
    (Yeah, I’m a band geek that way…)

    I love it when are funny! This is a great ad, and i think it’s a ‘SMASH” hit ! Geek!

    Great ad a real eye catcher…. Love when they do things that are outside the box
