’tis the season … for AWARDS

As most of you know, we’re still the new kids in the internet. We started this blog as a fun project and we got a lot more in return. There has been a lot of learning, growth and plenty of opportunities knocking on our door. We have started getting more regular readers, we’ve upgraded the blog to start accepting advertising, we’ve received some awesome awards, we’re now monthly guests on KHTS AM Hometown Station’s Today’s Modern Woman and we’ve got some other super secret plans that we’ll be launching in 2009.

In a nutshell … we’re growing up and we are having so much fun doing it - but the truth is, we couldn’t do any of this without your help, encouragement, knowledge and love.

With more than one of us reading, it was really tough to narrow down the ones that we wanted to pass on these kick ass awards to as a group. There are SO many blogs that we are LOVING right now.

It’s a LOVE fest people and we’re sharing the awards with you and you and you … well you get the picture!

Here’s how it works:

  1. When received, you may post the award to your blog.
  2. Link to the blogger you received it from.
  3. Pass it on to 7 bloggers.
  4. Link to those 7 blogs.
  5. Leave those 7 bloggers a comment letting them know which award they have received.

On to the award ceremony … :: raising curtain and taking the mic ::

Last month Meleah from Momma Mia, Mea Culpa awarded us with the “I Love Your Blog” award. Actually, she told us we could choose which one we wanted and I decided that we’d take the “I Love Your Blog” award because … come on … how could you NOT love our blog? ;=).

November must have been a good month for us … because Jenny on the Spot also gave us an award. She awarded us with the Brillante Weblog - Primo 2008 award. I’m not sure if that’s a typo or not, but since that’s how it’s spelled on the actual award … I’m keeping it.

    even if you guys did all the work and i’m just one of those filler people who sit in the seats when the real stars go to the loo.
