Hello friendly readers…I know I’ve been a bit spotty with my posts for last week or so, but I’ve been kinda busy…
I have a secret to tell you…so I’m going to finally let the cat out of the bag today.
This past Saturday afternoon, at 4 PM - I became Mrs. G~ (well Mrs. S., but ya know…) on the beach in Galveston, TX.
We have been talking about getting married for a few months now and after being together for nearly 7.5 years, we decided to quasi-elope…:)
We got our marriage license on Wednesday afternoon - let a few people in on our secret. Found someone to do a Daoist ceremony - “Hi Reverend John!!!” ::waves:: and we were off…

We had a wonderful day - had champagne and a few little nibbly things at the San Luis and then headed into town to meet up with some more of our friends for dinner at on of our favorite Indian restaurant, London Sizzler.
I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day…ever!

OMGosh lady!! You did it and I am so happy for you. I love the barefoot on the beach shot. You look great and well . . . I guess your new husband does too! No really I miss you but am very happy that your knight in shining armor is yours forever. I will be in Dallas on Nov. 21 - December 4, it would be nice to see you. My son and his wife had a baby Oct.08 and you know what that makes me (but I’m not sure the title fits) or at least I don’t feel like . Congratulations to the both of you.
