Positive Post Tuesday - My Man Toy Rocks!

Let me tell you something about my husband - he is the best! Seriously, my positive post Tuesday entry is about him this morning.

I have never met a more loving and supportive man in my life. He’s not perfect by any means, but seriously, he is my rock. When I’m freaking out, he’s the first one I run to because he knows exactly what to say to me to get me to calm the hell down. He doesn’t tell me I’m crazy, he listens and then will either tell me that he understands why I’m feeling like I am (and a lot of time will even say, I can’t believe you waited this long to get HERE) or he’ll tell me gently that I might be overreacting a tad bit - and then takes two steps back - haha.

He laughs at the same stupid stuff that I do. We play around like kids sometimes and we have very serious discussions about all kinds of things too. He’s the one that allows me to bury my face into his chest and sob after I’ve put on a strong/brave face for others to see. He’s the one that knows that I’m really not quite as strong as everyone thinks ALL the time. Honestly, he’s the first man that has really allowed me to be me without asking me to throttle back a bit (because I do spin TOO much and often times take too much on my little plate).

This is part of my crazy time. For some reason all the buyer shows end up being within a few months of each other. I learned this last January when I was gone for most of the month. It was the first time I had really just stepped away and let someone else handle the household stuff (including the boy). Ron really stepped up then and he’s doing the same thing now that shows are hitting the shores again. When I’m down on myself because I didn’t make the Gazillion Dollars I had hoped to, he reminds me that this is all part of the process that we JUST STARTED THIS YEAR - in uncertain economic times even.

I hate to be away from him and this weekend in San Francisco will be no different.

I lucked out beyond belief .. and am SO thankful and grateful for my MAN-TOY ;-)

Four day show here in Los Angeles this past weekend - I leave for San Francisco on Thurs. That show goes through Tues. In the meantime, I need to get cracking on orders to fill so I can pay for the BIG show - MAGIC in Vegas next month.

You are truly one of the BLESSED ones…and he is a great catch. I have experienced the two of you together and I have to say, you’re one of the coolest married couples that I have ever had the pleasure to run with…seriously.
I have never heard you say a bad word about the man…well, maybe not a bad word about anyone (except fake haired biyatches that roll their eyes at me).
    You are a lucky girl
And on the flip side…you are hella cool and he is SUPER LUCKY TO HAVE LANDED A CATCH LIKE YOU TOO…
