Our quiet and peaceful beach that we go to each year … it’s AWESOME

Ron and the Boy on our first day … digging the first of many holes we’d see during the week.

Tennille and the newest addition to the family … Noah

Coco LOVES beach life, bugs, critters and the like. She also loves to bring back FINDS on our adventures. The first day she found this partly burned tree on the beach and drug it all the way home - named it Smoky and was bummed when Aunt Sherry said no way can you bring it up to the house. The following morning we went to the beach and discovered that someone had planted it for her and decorated it with sea weed and clam shells - SO NICE :-D

Aunt Sherry (aka Grandma Sherry to baby Noah) and my niece Ashlie taking their picture.

Ron teaching Coco how to skip rocks in the waves …

We found a crab on the beach … he was pretty cool - as you can see here the boys were prodding it with a stick and our brave Coco was picking it up with her fingers (yes, it did pinch her once, but she said it didn’t hurt that bad)

These guys were pretty cool. They were kite surfers and turned their kites into engine’s on trikes - look in the lower right corner of this picture and you’ll see them (kinda small and a little hard to see with the fog). They turn with their legs and use their arms to control the kite - pretty amazing workout if you ask me.

Me and Coco the morning Ron and I took the kids to check out the tide pool areas.

Coco found another den of crabs … she’s good like that. This guy had HUGE pinchers so she didn’t try to get any closer to him.

We saw this guy on the beach walking back. He certainly wasn’t afraid of people … I don’t know if he was sick or just on the shore to lose his baby coat.

Ashlie and Noah ..

A mommy and baby crane strolling in the waves …

Another picture of the dolphins playing in the water when the boys were boogie boarding.

Me and Ron taking the self portraits on the front deck (a tradition) - he said the first photo made his nose look bigger than normal so we took a second one where he hid the nose in my hair - haha goof

Another tradition … sunset shots … I LOVE these …

Thanks for sharing. Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. I have been wanting a beach get away! I’m going to have to see if I can find some place for a mid week get away for me and Sadie.

oh my goodness, a seal on the beach… that is crazy.
when you hit the beaches in the south, you see cranes and dolphins, but definitely not seals. we’d freak if we ran into that fellow! too cool!
