I’m awful glad to meet cha

Last night Ms. Jodycakes came over for dinner and brought me beautiful daffodils. I love daffodils. They are so cheery - how can you not love them?

This morning, this is what I came down to on the kitchen counter … beautiful daffodils and an empty wine glass - hahah … definitely a sign of a good evening of wine and friendship

High up grew a daffodil
I couldn’t hardly reach her

I climbed to get the daffodil
Out on a limb so thin
